I am a middle aged wife, mom and full time worker who happened to fall into sewing Christmas morning 2016. My oldest received a sewing machine from her grandmother, and I watched videos on YouTube on basic maintenance and setup. Until that moment, I didn't even know a sewing machine had two threads!
By March of 2017, I had bought my own sewing machine, and started on my adventure into sewing and quilting. I quickly realized I was much better at quilting and sewing plushies than trying my hand at garment sewing.
This blog is my way to share with you the adventure and lessons that I find myself in on an almost daily basis as I learn quilting....one quarter inch at a time!
